When Rusl told Link that his "Partner" could get him across the gorge and that it "Flys like a dream" I thought that translated into "The thing will get you across the ENTIRE Gorge"

No. Not the case.

After having Link jump mindlessly into the endless abyss, I was surprised to find out that the golden cucco flys about as good as any cucco can.
And thats not good.

Afterwords I found myself yelling "RUSL IT DOESN'T FLY LIKE A DREAM IT FLIES LIKE A CHICKEN".


...anyway.
For some reason I decided to use my marker for this one.
I don't know WHY I decided this, but as you can see I had no idea what I was doing.
Hmm.

WHOO SNOWDAY.

Tech stuff:
Er...maybe 3 or 4 hours
Inked in photoshop and colored with derwent colored pencils, Prismacolor markers and a set of colored sharpies.
...and a one copic.

Hehe.. I remember that part. I was expecting something a little more awsome than a gold cucco. I wanted to smack Rusl even before I jumped. Oh well.

Nice work on this by the way. The colors came out good, especially on his hair.

HA. It's funny you say that. XD My scanner actually brightened everything in the picture up...EXEPT the hair.

I thought it actually looked more brown then blonde...

Yep. I was definitely expecting the same thing...it was a bit disappointing.

And it is a very nice marker job=)

Well...They don't REALLY fly. They can flutter somewhat, like turkies, but can't actually get more then a couple yards off the ground.
